Five-minute typing speed test
Five minutes challenges your ability to maintain a steady, accurate pace over time. It is useful when you want to measure more than a short burst of typing speed.

Why test for five minutes?
A 15- or 60-second test measures short-term pace. After several minutes, fatigue and attention make consistency more important.
Your five-minute WPM may be lower than your one-minute score. That does not automatically mean you performed worse; you are measuring a different kind of performance.
A repeatable testing routine
Keep the keyboard, language, difficulty and text mode the same. Start a 300-second session and type until the timer finishes. An early stop is not counted as a completed historical result.
Check both net WPM and accuracy. When you return a few days later, use the same settings to judge whether your sustainable pace has improved.
Better habits for longer typing
Begin a little slower than your sprint pace and maintain a relaxed position. Do not trade accuracy for a few early seconds of speed.
After a test, review the problem keys and take a targeted practice lesson. Take a break if you feel hand or wrist discomfort. Typlora is a practice tool, not a professional certification.
All test scores are calculated inside your browser. No sign-up and no practice text sent to an app server.
